Welcome to our wonderful family at Gilnow school. As a school it is full of life, love and passion. A school that has high aspirations for all. We embrace children from all walks of life to build a multiculturally diverse community school. We welcome all children who have different languages, needs, abilities, talents and experiences.
The roots of our success begin with a wonderful Foundation Stage Unit, which welcomes children from the age of 3, into an excellent Nursery which is intergrated with the school’s Reception class.
The Foundations Unit is led by a very experienced early years teacher and is supported with exceptional teachers and teaching assistants, some of whom are bi-lingual to support children who have English as an additional language. The Foundation Unit have continual access to a well resourced outside area.
The children grow and thrive within the school which encompasses different branches of learning to eventually develop into a wonderful well-rounded individual.
